Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The meetings run from 10.30 to 12.30. There is a donation of £2.00 per child.

Our first meeting was in May 2009. During 2011 children have been involved in a variety of activities including pond dipping, hunting creatures in Risedale Beck, seeing a bat when the bat boxes were checked before winter and finding out about the management of the reserve.
To help with organisation we are asking if you will book for each meeting. We will trial this for three months.
You will be most welcome to join the volunteers on the worky days in January, February and March. There are more details on the events page.
We are also having some collection days at Tesco's in Catterick. If you can give some time to rattling buckets and spreading the word about Foxglove Covert, that would be great. Again more details on the events page.
