Hard Fern - Blechnum spicant
This fern was originally recorded in 2003 in the coppice block. It was found in the coppice block during a ‘Worky Day’ in November 2018. Unfortunately we do not know if this is the original fern!

This fern is quite rare. It is an indicator of ancient meadows. It is also an annual.

This fern actually does smell of lemon!
