Blackbird and Brambling

'Bossy Blackbird' or BB for short (one of our colour ringed Blackbirds) was back in the Field Centre garden yesterday. He was captured on camera by Paul who also took this stunning photo of a Brambling.
A group in the Wetland hide had a great view of a Stoat today. It was busy looking for food amongst the frozen pools and ventured across the ice several times.

Reserve Access: Fully Open
Monday 7th April 2025 |
The reserve access gate is back to being fully functional. Visitors can now access the reserve throughout the normal opening hours, veiwable here.
Dawn Chorus Guided Walk
Sunday 4th May 2025 | 5:30am-7:30am
Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day with a guided walk around the reserve to experience the dawn chorus.
Walk starts from the Field Centre at 5:30am.
Bring along binoculars if you have them.
Donation of £5 per person. Free for Volunteers and Friends of Foxglove.
Bookings close Friday 2nd May, 12pm.
