Willow Warbler recoveries map

Here, courtesy of one of the Reserve Managers, is a map of the Willow Warbler recoveries reported from Foxglove over the past few years. The red lines indicate birds ringed at Foxglove that have been caught elsewhere during their migration and the green lines are birds ringed by other ringers that have subsequently been retrapped at Foxglove.

This is just an early attempt at what we see as an ideal opportunity to make more of the bird ringing information we accrue. We are working on how to make the map larger in order to view the information more easily - watch this space for further editions!
