Great Crested Newt - Triturus cristatus
This is a BAP listed species.
Wren - Troglodytes troglodytes
Redwing - Turdus iliacus
Redwings visit the reserve in late autumn feeding on the Hawthorn berries, especially in the trees around the Stone Pile parking area. Over a period of several weeks they clear the berries and the reserve changes from autumnal red to winter grey.
Blackbird - Turdus merula
During the winter 'our' Blackbirds are joined by winter migrants from Europe. Like the Redwings they too enjoy the berries of Hawthorn as pasr of their diet.

Mistle Thrush - Turdus viscivorus
Barn Owl - Tyto alba
Lapwing - Vanellus vanellus
Red Fox - Vulpes vulpes
Common Lizard - Zootoca vivipara
This is a BAP listed species. During 2016 there were several sightings of Common Lizards on the wetland boardwalk, sunbathing.
