Friends of Foxglove

The Friends of Foxglove Covert is a vitally important way to spread the word on the reserve's conservation efforts. By joining, each Friend will have contributed directly to on-going work of the reserve.

Visitors to Foxglove Covert Local Nature The Friends Group was started in August 2004 as a way of involving people in the work of the reserve. Much of the reserve's effort to maintain the wildlife habitats and operate the Field Centre is carried out by volunteers who are the mainstay of the reserve. This work is largely funded by voluntary donations and could not continue without the generous contributions of its supporters.

Each Friend will receive a regular copy of our newsletter Undergrowth which is published four times a year. They will also receive preferential invitations to special events ranging from wildflower walks and Birdsong Breakfasts to social and fund raising events.

The annual cost of membership is as follows:
